Pink Hair, Don't Care!

Hello everybody!

See something different??

I colored my hair completely pink! :D
This is something I've dreamed of doing for a couple of years now, and I finally had the balls to do it. I am not completely finished with it, because some parts are still slightly yellow. That is because I had a red-brown color in half of my hair, and it did not bleach as well as my roots and the already bleached tips. But if I continued to bleach it, I would ruin my hair completely.. So I will wait a while, and then try again. Anyway, putting light pink over my hair still worked, so I am happy! ^^

This is how my hair looked after my two rounds of bleaching:

The anti-yellow conditioner stayed in a bit too long, so it actually colored my tips.. x)
But I like it, gives my hair a little bit of lavender color. Almost had Elsa hair at one point. Made me want to try getting white/platinum hair.
I think I'm gonna try and find some blue color to mix together with my pink. That might be quite cool.

I decided to go for a walk one day, and ended up going down to the sea and just sit on some rocks, listening to the waves and seagulls around me. Very relaxing! It made me realize how much I've missed the sea. I still kinda live by the sea, but it's not the same. You don't really sit on rocks and look out over the big sea there. So this was long awaited to spend time by the sea. ~

The nature here is simply breath taking! So beautiful. This is what I love about living here.

Until next time..<3

Update; Rain + Makeup + Looking for Apartment

Hello everyone!

It is raining like mad outside right now. I actually kinda like rain, it's quite soothing. And it always smells really nice before/under/after the skies have emptied their watergates. It might sound weird, but apparently many people like the smell of rain. Rain is good for a lot of things; the soul, the nature and the all around wellness of the world. So many countries are in desperate need of rain and water, so I'm not going to complain about having too much of it. I guess what I'm really grumpy because of is the lack of sun and heat. Once you enter summer vacation, the body is kind of expecting summer weather. My body is craving sun and warmth, not cold and gusty..

So I am spending most of my days going once more into hibernation. Very few people are attempting to exit their houses, most people are just shutting themselves inside. I have only been going outside so that I could meet friends and catch up. Otherwise I have been entertaining myself with makeup and Midsummer Murder. Maybe the weirdest combination.

So hopefully the weather will turn around soon, before I run out of makeup or episodes to watch..

In about two weeks time I will be heading of to work at a raceway summer meet. I'll be frying burgers for a whole weekend. It shall be fun. This will be the third year I'll be working there. And I like it. I get to watch all sorts of cars racing around the tracks. So I need to stay healthy and not catch a cold before that, since I don't want to be sock while making food. Crossing fingers and tails that the weather will turn around by then.

I think I might have mentioned this in earlier posts, that I am looking for a new place to stay for next semester, and it is indeed quite stressful. I have found a pretty decent place, but I think I need to stay at that flat throughout the year. So I'm not really sure...

Other than that I am going to enjoy my long awaited vacation and spend the time to recharge my batteries.

Until next time.. <3

Last Weeks in Photos

Hello everyone!

I have been seriously MIA lately...

Because of my exams I did not have time or energy to blog, and then just before my last exam my mac broke down and refused to start. Had to send it in to get it fixed. It apparently started working again, but they don't know how.. Anyway it is now working and hopefully it will keep working for a good while more. Luckily all the stuff I had on it survived, and I can now start editing my footage from our national day celebration. I actually finished exams a week ago, but I have been spending the last week taking apart and packing down my room before I headed home for vacation. I have to move to another place this fall, so now everything is now ready to be taken wherever I get a new place to stay. So now is actually the first day I have had any time to blog or do anything at all.

Here are some pictures from my last weeks;

These photos are a quick view into my month ^^
Today I drove back to my hometown together with my mom. A 6 hour long drive. So I am really ready to go to sleep now.

Until next time..<3

17th of May; How I Celebrated Norway's National Day!

Hi everyone!

Yesterday was May 17th; Norway's national day! :D
I did not have the time to blog that day what so ever. The day was packed with fun and national pride. I had so much fun! We walked a lot, ate a lot and drank beer with great people.

The day started with a champagne breakfast together with some friends. We popped the champagne bottle, ate pavlova and watched the children's parade in Oslo and the royal family waving at the people + celebrations from all around Norway on the TV.

When we finished eating and drinking, we made our way into town to walk in the main parade together with our history student association. The parade was filled with all sorts of student associations, local associations, marching bands and other groups of people. Even the Norwegian stormtroopers group walked in the parade. It was really cool!

Stormtroopers!!

After a lot of walking, cheering and dancing in the parade, we went to take some photos with our student association. Also got to take some group photos with my friends. After the photos were taken people kinda scattered all over the place. We decided, true to tradition, to go stuff our faces with ice-cream and hot dogs. Yum!

Next up we just wandered around a little, looking at all the people and stall with food. Ended up getting myself a slice of pizza since, since for some weird reason a hot dog and ice-cream did not satisfy my hunger.

Then we watched the russetog (parade full of russ). Quite nostalgic watching them, made me miss my time as a russ. After watching them jump and dance around through the streets, we made our way over to a pub to get a beer. And after finishing one beer, we headed over to eat a pizza (everyone was quite hungry after walking a lot that day).

russ^^

When the pizza had been devoured, we headed back to the pub to grab some more beer and catch up with more people. And then we went home.

I have to say, jumping into bed was pure heaven after all that walking! Fell asleep once my head hit my pillow.

This year was my first time celebrating our national day away from home, and it was quite weird, but it was nice. Since I had my friends with me, it was all good.

Hope this was interesting for you to read, and maybe you learned something new about our celebration of the national day.

Until next time.. <3
